CPO 3010 – Comparative Politics
In this class, I was introduced to political systems, institutions, and governance practices from around the world. I learned how to compare different types of governance and understand the similarities and differences between democratic and non-democratic regimes. With the help of cases and comparative politics tools, I understood how political behavior is shaped by history, culture, and economics.
INR 3081 – Contemporary International Problems
This class focused on global issues such as conflicts, international security, human rights, climate change, and global economic development. I learned how to evaluate international policies and actions as well as their impacts on global problems. This course allowed me to recognize how issues are interrelated and complex when seen from different cultural and geographical perspectives.
LAS 3002 – Introduction to Latin American and Caribbean Studies
I explored Latin America and the Caribbean through multiple disciplines, focusing on its history, society, politics, economy, culture, and international relations. This course helped me develop critical thinking and evaluation skills in the context of Latin America and its connection with other regions in the world.

PAD 3034 – Policy Development & Implementation
This course introduces me to the process of creating, analyzing, and implementing policies within public administration and highlights the difficulties that policymakers have to deal with in both national and international settings. The emphasis is on assessing the effectiveness of these policies, overcoming barriers in politics and administration, and applying theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios.
